On Tuesday I finished my last exam and turned in my last two papers! Then on Wednesday I packed everything up and crammed it in my car. We cleaned the apartment from top to bottom until 2am, and then Sarah, Kate and I dragged a mattress out and had a slumber party on the living room floor. It was a good last night. =) Today I drove everything home and after unloading my car you couldn't even see my bedroom it was so full of stuff. But I'm mostly unpacked now. I won't be posting on my xanga for the next couple months...but I wanted to leave you with my parting college story.

Moving out tends to generate a ton of trash. So to serve us, the apartments brought in a big dumpster and placed it in the parking lot. Some of the guys came to help us move out and to have a party afterwards. So we took down loads of trash and boxes of stuff. And I made the really stupid mistake of throwing away trash with the same hand that was holding my keys.

...sinking feeling...

So I climbed up on the dumpster and peered in. No keys. Plus it was around 11pm, so it was kind of hard to see. Sarah ran upstairs to get a flashlight, and David climbed up on the dumpster and swung his legs over, ready to jump in. But I didn't want him to cause I didn't want the trash to shift and send my keys sinking to the bottom, never to be seen again. So I keep looking and looking and finally see a little gleam of metal. yay!! And no one had to jump in to get them, I could reach them by balancing on my stomach on the edge of the dumpster and leaning in as far as I could...

Have a great summer!

Today I had my spanish exam, which went well. Then Sarah and I went to Barnes and Noble to work on homework. (We got lost on the way there...now we're friends!) At B&N I finished my paper for my Spain class. Then came back to the apartment and started to pack up. My room is full of stacks of stuff right now.

Tomorrow's the last day! However, I have an exam tomorrow that I've studied about seven minutes for, and I have an 8 page paper due that I haven't written a single word for, and it's 11pm right now. Soooo....off to work!

My Spanish Literature exam this morning went great. I studied all the right stuff, for which I am so grateful to God for helping me. The first part had 12 identifications, but we only had to choose 10. I knew 9 of them for sure, so I guessed on the tenth. Then there were 5 short essays and we had to chose 3, and I was only really sure I could write a great essay for 2 of the options, but then our professor said he had one more option for that section and he wrote it on the board, and that one I had studied all about! Then the final section was a longer essay and the topic was the same as my paper, and the exam asked us to write at least four different points, and my paper has exactly four main points, and I already got an A on the paper, so I know the exam went well. =)

*take a deep breath!* 2 exams and three papers to go!

I can tell exams are starting to get to me cause this afternoon I returned a book to the library that I still need for one of my papers. ahhh!

Exam number three is this morning from 10:30-12:30am. We're gonna have an hour long exam (or so says my professor, although his exams always run long) and then we're gonna have an hour to discuss our papers as a class. I just finished my paper at about 8:30pm, and have been studying for the exam. Right as I was about to begin studying I checked my school e-mail and my professor had sent us a study guide which is super helpful and includes a list of possible essay questions to prepare for. God is so good to help me in the midst of my crazy work load!

This morning I wrote a three page Spanish paper interpreting a short story. I reread the story, chose a thesis, outlined the paper, and wrote the whole thing all in three hours. whew! I just finished writing the abstract to my Spain paper, and now I'm working on revising another Spanish paper. This one's a little tricky cause the professor returned my rough draft with a bunch of notes, but I'm still not totally sure what he wants.

Two more papers (about twelve pages total) and three exams left! I haven't studied a single minute for my exams yet though. Plus, I'm supposed to watch a movie before my exam on Friday, and I'm not really sure when I'm gonna fit that in. But by God's grace I can see the finish line!
